Enterprise Systems
My mixed background in business and technology allows me to effectively plan and implement enterprise software systems for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Warehouse Management (WMS), Point of Sale (POS), and Accounting software.
Among the vendors of these systems, I am the most well-versed with Odoo, an all-in-one ERP, WMS, POS, and accounting platform. Odoo is my go-to system for SMBs that are budget conscious, operationally complex, and require a system as dynamic as their business needs and ambitions. Its opensource platform supports business-specific, custom-built applications, and the ability to self-host its Python and JS front-end and PostgreSQL database in the cloud makes scalability a non-issue.
Cloud Services & Compute Infrastructure
I have extensive experience deploying and maintaining a wide variety of consumer and business software and infrastructure, both on-premise and in the cloud, including:
Amazon Web Services (AWS): EC2, S3, Route 53, RDS, LightSail, and their suite of machine learning services.
Windows Server 2016: Active Directory, Hyper-V, IIS, and Failover Clustering.
Web: Cloudflare, cPanel, NGINX, and WordPress.
Other: most Linux and Ubuntu distributions, macOS and iOS.
Programming & Scripting Languages
As required by past projects and IT implementations, I have self-taught myself practical knowledge for editing and writing basis scripts and commands in:
Web: HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript
Programming: Python
Scripting: CLI and PowerShell
Database: SQL and PostgreSQL
Certifications
In late-2018, I began studying the following courses towards obtaining Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE): Core Infrastructure certification:
70-740: Installation, Storage, and Compute with Windows Server 2016
70-741: Networking with Windows Server 2016
70-742: Identity with Windows Server 2016
In addition to pursuing my MCSE certificate, I also intend to obtain Amazon Web Service Cloud Practitioner certification as time allows.
